On average each person uses 10-14 bottles of gel a year. That doesn’t sound too much when you just look at your own little pile, but imagine what that pile looks like through your immediate family, then your street, your city… and then the whole of the UK…..

Neil the founder of Shower Blocks (and his employees), actually hand make every single one of these. In the beginning of 2019 he started to feel frustrated about the amount of shower gel bottles he was getting through and decided to find an option that was plastic free.
So, over the course of 9 months (lockdown really accelerated things), he learned to make cosmetics from scratch and set about creating Shower Blocks. The bubbly, hydrating and totally plastic free alternatives to shower gel, to help remove single use plastics from showers all over the UK.
